Featured Fairhope Artist: Val Zanetti

If you don't have plans for this Friday, come downtown to enjoy May's LODA Artwalk. If you do have plans, change them, because you won't want to miss the art we are featuring by Fairhope artist Val Zanetti!

Adhering to Carl Jung’s position that there is a “collective unconscious with a treasure trove of archetypal visual imagery common to all human beings”, Zanetti is more comfortable with the abstract motions of color and rhythm coming together on canvas or wood to create fluid movement. He creates continuous movement to keep one’s eyes busy to find the next image within the canvas.

Although new to the scene of being the actual artist, Zanetti has always enjoyed modern art – from Picasso & Chagall to Pollock & Kandinsky. Incorporating a little from each of these masters, he has developed a style totally independent of any other modern artist. Strong and bold, full of motion and depth, Zanetti stands at the precipice of a new era in modern art. His art is never stereotypical, but rather edgy and raw yet at the same time playful and comforting.

Artwalk starts this Friday, May 13th, at 6pm and lasts until 8pm. Come check out the artwork of Val Zanetti, speak with him, and have a glass of wine! We are located at 5 North Jackson Street right across from Hayley's Bar and NoJa. We can't wait to see you here!

Zanetti stands with one of his Pollock-inspired pieces, one of the many to be featured at this Friday's Artwalk.

While you are downtown, check out the talents of Mobile's finest local bands at the 2nd Annual Coastline Chronicles. Coastline Chronicles is an all ages, three-day music festival featuring local artists and it kicks off tonight (Thursday 5/12) at the Alabama Music Box and Island Thyme. Come show some support and discover new music! The festivities begin tonight at 8pm!
Don't miss round 2 of the best and ONLY festival dedicated to Mobile area's local bands!

Vehicle Advertising

When considering vehicle graphics, consider how many people are going to become acquainted with your business. A brief stop at a traffic light can provide a great opportunity to advertise for your company.

Not convinced? Statistics show that individual vehicle advertising generates between 30,000 to 70,000 daily vehicle impressions.

In addition, the Arbitron National In-Car Study of 2003 discovered that "A significant amount of shopping occurs on the way home from work. Consumers report these purchases are contemplated during the day and on the way home. As such, outdoor advertising are vital to impact shopping and purchasing on the way home from work." The study also proves "Outdoor advertising delivers immediate results for advertisers. 29% say outdoor advertising caused them to visit a retail store within a week. The more time spent in the car, the more likely that outdoor advertising motivates consumers to visit a retail store." (Arbitron National In-Car Study, 2003)

In essence, vehicle advertisement is an inexpensive form of advertisement, long lasting (up to ten years), and available to most businesses. It is a fool proof way to establish yourself as a reputable company and bring in new clientele.

So call Identity Signs @ 251.621.9530 or email us and put your name in traffic!

Check out the vehicle advertisement by Identity Signs for Bama Breeze, a local heating & air company.

Custom perforated window graphics. Full color prints without sacrificing visibility from the inside of the vehicle. Also creates great added security making it difficult to see inside!
